Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Celtic forward Daizen Maeda this summer.

The 27-year-old initially joined the Scottish champions on loan from Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos in 2022, before making the move permanent ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Japan international has enjoyed an excellent campaign at Celtic Park, scoring 33 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.

Maeda's standout performances have attracted interest from several top European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, Arsenal are one of a number of Premier League clubs monitoring Maeda.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are also said to be keeping a close eye on the winger's situation.

Celtic are reportedly open to selling Maeda for a fee in the region of £25m, although the Scottish side are expected to try to convince him to sign a contract extension. His current deal runs until 2027.
