Arsenal’s Move to Sign World-Class Striker in Doubt as Negotiations Stall Over Wage Demands — Growing Frustration at the Emirates

Arsenal's talks over a potential summer move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško have reportedly hit a stumbling block.
The Gunners' search for a new number nine continues, with Šeško and Sporting CP's Viktor Gyökeres remaining key topics in the media.
Mikel Arteta's side are believed to have held discussions with the representatives of both players before making a final decision on whom to pursue.
Now, it appears that a potential deal for Šeško has stalled.
According to The Sun, Arsenal have been left frustrated by Šeško's wage demands, which have complicated negotiations.
While the club are understood to be willing to meet RB Leipzig's €70m asking price, the Slovenia international and his representatives are said to be demanding a contract well above what Arsenal are prepared to offer.
This could force Arteta's side to turn to their Plan B, believed to be Gyökeres. Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins is also reportedly under consideration at the Emirates.
