BREAKING: Arsenal and Liverpool favourites to sign Premier League star defender — player decision imminent

Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly the current favourites to sign Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen this summer. 
 

The 20-year-old has attracted significant interest from several top clubs across Europe following an impressive campaign with Bournemouth.

La Liga giants Real Madrid have been strongly linked with a summer move for the Spanish centre-back, as have Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Recent reports from Spanish media suggest that Huijsen has made a move to Real Madrid his top priority ahead of the upcoming transfer window. However, other sources claim the Bournemouth star is more likely to remain in England and join another Premier League club.

Sky Sports Germany's transfer expert Florian Plettenberg has now shared a fresh update on Huijsen's future.

He reports that Arsenal and Liverpool are currently leading the race to sign the highly rated defender. Real Madrid are still believed to be keen, but the two Premier League giants are currently ahead in the running.

Bayern Munich have also expressed interest, though a move to the Bundesliga appears unlikely at this stage.

According to Plettenberg, a decision from the player regarding his next destination is expected in due course.
