Arsenal are reportedly interested in a potential summer move for Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez.
 

The 25-year-old joined Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid from Manchester City last summer and has since established himself as one of the top strikers in La Liga.

In 53 appearances across all competitions this season, the Argentina international has recorded 29 goals and six assists.

His impressive debut season in Spain has attracted significant transfer interest ahead of the upcoming summer window.

According to an exclusive report by El Chiringuito journalist Matías Palacios, Arsenal are among the clubs keen on signing Álvarez this summer.

However, the Gunners are expected to face stiff competition for his signature, with Liverpool and Bayern Munich also reportedly interested.

Meetings have allegedly been scheduled for next week to discuss a potential transfer with the interested clubs.

Atlético Madrid could be open to selling Álvarez during the summer window if they receive a tempting offer.

Álvarez's current contract with Atlético runs until the summer of 2030.
