According to an exclusive published on X by transfer insider HandOfArsenal and Relevo journalist Rodra, Arsenal have made Real Madrid star Rodrygo their number one winger target this summer.

The club's recruitment team are said to be in agreement over pushing for a deal to sign the 24-year-old Brazil international — if he becomes available.

Several people at Arsenal — including some first-team players — are understood to have spoken to Rodrygo about life at the club and in North London.

A key meeting between the forward and new Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso is expected to take place soon to determine the player's future.

Other Premier League clubs are also in the race for Rodrygo's signature, but Arsenal are reportedly prepared to make a strong financial offer should he be made available on the market.
