Arsenal have reportedly made a surprise enquiry to Manchester United regarding the potential signing of winger Jadon Sancho this summer.
 

The 25-year-old spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Chelsea but has now returned to Old Trafford, with his long-term future at United uncertain.

Several clubs across Europe — including Juventus, Napoli and Fenerbahce — have been linked with a move for the England international.

Now, a fresh update has emerged on Sancho's situation.

According to journalist Buchi Laba, writing for CaughtOffside, Arsenal have approached Manchester United to explore a possible deal for Sancho.

However, it is understood that the Gunners have not yet followed up on their initial interest.

Mikel Arteta's side are also considering alternative winger targets, with Chelsea's Noni Madueke and Real Madrid's Rodrygo reportedly on the shortlist.
