BREAKING: Arsenal midfield target chooses Aston Villa — regarded as one of Europe’s top talents

Arsenal target Sverre Nypan is reportedly closing in on a summer move to Aston Villa.
The 18-year-old Norwegian talent, currently playing for Rosenborg, was heavily linked with several top clubs during the January transfer window, but ultimately decided to stay put until the summer.
Arsenal, Manchester City, Girona, and Aston Villa have all been mentioned as potential destinations.
Now, it appears a decision has been made.
Norwegian outlets Adressavisen and Nettavisen report that Nypan has chosen Aston Villa as his next club. The young midfielder is said to have been impressed by the club's project after holding multiple virtual meetings with the Birmingham side.

The ever-reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic now confirms that Aston Villa are working to finalise a deal to sign Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan.
While nothing has been completed yet, Villa are believed to be confident of landing the highly rated wonderkid, who is considered one of Europe's brightest prospects.
