BREAKING: Arsenal Offer Contract to World-Class Striker Worth £7m-a-Year Ahead of Potential Summer Move

Arsenal have reportedly presented a contract proposal to Sporting CP goal machine Viktor Gyökeres.
 

The Sweden international has been identified as Arsenal's top target to strengthen the attack this summer, with sporting director Andrea Berta believed to be pushing for a deal.

Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manhã reported a few days ago that the Gunners had submitted an initial bid to sign Gyökeres.

However, that claim has been denied by both Sporting and the 26-year-old's agent. Now, fresh reports from Portugal have emerged.

According to A Bola, Arsenal have offered a contract to the player. The proposal is reportedly worth around £7 million per year and is expected to be a four- or five-year deal.

Mikel Arteta's side are serious about signing Gyökeres, and it now appears that only an agreement between the two clubs stands in the way of a summer move.
