BREAKING: Arsenal open discussions to sign highly rated Valencia defender this summer

Arsenal have held initial discussions over a potential summer move for Valencia centre-back Yarek Gasiorowski, according to a report from England.

Now, English outlet FootballTransfers reports that Arsenal have made contact with Gasiorowski's representatives ahead of a potential summer swoop.

The Spain U19 international's contract at Mestalla runs until 2027, after he signed a new deal in February this year. However, this means Valencia could be open to selling Gasiorowski if a suitable offer arrives.

Arsenal are keen to strengthen their defence in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen also among their targets.
