BREAKING: Arsenal REOPEN talks with Eberechi Eze’s camp — deal hinges on one of two Gunners stars being sold

Arsenal have reportedly reopened talks with the representatives of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze in the past 24 hours.
 

The 27-year-old playmaker has been heavily linked with a summer exit from Selhurst Park, attracting interest from several clubs.

Arsenal have been in contact with the Englishman's camp throughout the summer, although no formal offer has yet been made to Crystal Palace.

In recent days, north London rivals Tottenham have entered the race for Eze's signature after James Maddison suffered a serious pre-season injury that will keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Now, Arsenal insider AFCamden reports that the Gunners have re-established contact with Eze's representatives in the last 24 hours.

The north London club remain keen on a summer deal for the Palace star, but will need to offload players before making a serious approach. It is understood that one of Leandro Trossard or Fabio Vieira would need to be sold to fund a potential move.
