BREAKING: Arsenal’s €70m bid REJECTED for world-class striker — club demand more

Sporting CP have reportedly rejected a €70m bid from Arsenal for Viktor Gyökeres.
With the summer transfer window officially opening on Sunday, clubs are ramping up their preparations.
Arsenal are expected to sign a new striker this summer, with Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Šeško both heavily linked with potential moves to the Emirates Stadium.
According to Portuguese outlet Correio da Manhã, Arsenal submitted an initial €70m offer for Gyökeres, which has been turned down by Sporting.
The Sweden international's agent is said to have presented the proposal to Sporting's hierarchy, who ultimately chose to reject it.
The Lisbon-based club are believed to be holding out for a higher fee, while Arsenal have reportedly made it clear they are not willing to engage in a bidding war for the 26-year-old.
