According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, Arsenal are in advanced contract talks with Gabriel.

Negotiations between the parties are understood to have stepped up recently, and a full agreement on fresh terms is now believed to be close.

Gabriel is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury but is expected to be fully fit for the start of next season.
