Arsenal are reportedly set to step up their pursuit of Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera in the coming days.
 

The 21-year-old has made it clear he wants to join the Gunners this summer, with only an agreement between the clubs left to be resolved.

According to Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, new talks between Mosquera and Arsenal are expected to take place shortly.

Mikel Arteta's project is said to be appealing to the player, who has already turned down a contract extension from Valencia in order to push for a move to the Emirates.

Reaching an agreement over the transfer fee now remains the final hurdle.
