Bayern Munich are reportedly set to rival Arsenal for the signature of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze this summer.
 

The Gunners are looking to sign a new attacking midfielder ahead of next season, with the 27-year-old identified as a key target.

Talks between Mikel Arteta's side and Eze's representatives have already taken place, although club-to-club negotiations are yet to begin.

However, it now looks like Arsenal could face serious competition.

According to The Sun, Bayern Munich are also keen on signing Eze this summer and are preparing to battle Arsenal for his signature.

Bayern boss Vincent Kompany is understood to want Eze to reunite with former Crystal Palace teammate Michael Olise, who recently joined the Bundesliga club.

With Arsenal yet to submit an official offer, Bayern are believed to be ready to pounce.
