Bournemouth have reportedly opened discussions over a potential summer move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson.
 

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Fulham and has now returned to Arsenal, with his long-term future still uncertain.

Recent reports claim that Marco Silva's side are keen to sign Nelson on a permanent basis this summer.

Now, another Premier League club has entered the race for the Englishman's signature.

According to FootballTransfers, Bournemouth are interested in Nelson and have already opened talks with Arsenal regarding a possible deal.

Cherries manager Andoni Iraola is understood to have personally contacted Mikel Arteta — a close childhood friend — to enquire about Nelson's situation. 

Bournemouth are currently believed to be leading the race to sign the Arsenal winger, with the South Coast club "pushing the hardest" to secure his services.
