BREAKING: Crystal Palace open talks to sign Arsenal centre-back target valued at €40m – Gunners long-time admirers

Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande is reportedly nearing a summer switch to Crystal Palace.
 

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Portuguese champions, with Arsenal known to be long-term admirers of the Ivory Coast international.

However, it now appears Diomande is heading to the Premier League — but not to the Emirates.

According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, Crystal Palace are in talks with Sporting CP over a potential deal for the talented centre-back.

Diomande is believed to be valued at around £40 million, and it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach an agreement.

He is also attracting serious interest from other clubs across Europe.
