Mikel Arteta is said to have made concrete inquiries for Lookman during last summer's transfer window, but Atalanta refused to sell and chose to keep him for another season.

However, it now seems increasingly likely that the Atalanta star will leave the club this summer, with Arsenal having resumed talks with the player.
