The outcome of tomorrow night's Europa League final could reportedly be crucial to Viktor Gyökeres' future.

Arsenal are said to have made the Sweden international their top target ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, reports over the past 24 hours claim that Manchester United are also ready to make a serious move to secure Gyökeres' services this summer.

According to journalist Ryan Taylor of the Mirror, Wednesday's Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham could significantly affect United's chances of signing the 26-year-old goal scorer.

A United victory would secure them a place in next season's Champions League.

Gyökeres is keen to play in the Champions League, which gives Arsenal a major advantage, having already qualified.

Manchester United's hopes of signing Gyökeres this summer may hinge on whether they can secure Champions League football for the 2025/26 campaign.

As things stand, Arsenal and Manchester United appear to be the frontrunners in the race to sign the Swedish forward.
