Arsenal could reportedly revive their interest in signing Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins this summer.

The Gunners are expected to accelerate their pursuit of a new striker, with Benjamin Šeško and Viktor Gyökeres understood to be at the top of their shortlist.

However, Mikel Arteta's side could still consider alternative options.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal may make another attempt to sign Aston Villa's centre-forward Ollie Watkins.

If deals for either Šeško or Gyökeres fail to materialise, the Gunners could turn their attention to the 29-year-old England international.

Watkins is believed to be happy at Villa, but the lure of Champions League football is said to appeal to him, making a potential move to Arsenal difficult to reject.
