From Brazil: Arsenal re-open negotiations to sign Botafogo striker linked in January — initial offer submitted

Arsenal have reportedly re-opened talks to sign Botafogo striker Igor Jesus this summer.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal back in January. However, a winter switch to the Emirates never materialised.
This hasn't stopped the club from continuing to follow the player, and a fresh report from Brazil hasnow provided a significant update on the situation.
RTI Esporte claims that Arsenal have held initial discussions with Botafogo over signing Igor Jesus when the summer transfer window opens.
The outlet also states that the Gunners have submitted an offer for the Brazilian forward.
Arsenal are not alone in the race to secure the player's signature, with both Aston Villa and West Ham also believed to have Jesus on their shortlist of targets.
Igor Jesus' contract with Botafogo runs until December 2027.
