From Brazil: Arsenal set for new talks to sign LA Galaxy forward this week

Arsenal are reportedly in the race to sign LA Galaxy attacker Gabriel Pec.

Brazilian outlet RTI Esporte first reported in December 2024 that Arsenal had opened initial discussions with LA Galaxy over a deal for Gabriel Pec.

The 24-year-old joined the MLS side in January 2024 from Vasco da Gama and impressed last season, scoring 21 goals and providing 18 assists.

Now, RTI Esporte has provided an update on the player's future.

According to the report, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Palmeiras are all interested in a potential summer move for Pec. The Gunners are believed to have been in talks with the Brazilian's representatives since the end of last year, while Atletico Madrid have reportedly approached the player's agent regarding a possible transfer.

Furthermore, RTI Esporte suggests that Arsenal are expected to resume discussions this week in an attempt to secure Pec's signature.
