From Germany: Arsenal in four-club race to sign Bundesliga playmaker — €70m minimum price tag set

Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs in contention to sign RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons this summer.
 

The 22-year-old playmaker is expected to be one of several key players to leave the Bundesliga side during the transfer window.

Several top European clubs have been linked with a potential move.

According to German newspaper Sport Bild, Arsenal are one of a number of clubs showing interest in Simons ahead of a possible deal.

Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester United are also believed to be in the race for the Dutch midfielder's signature.

RB Leipzig are said to be demanding a fee in the region of €70m  for the Netherlands international.

Simons' agent has reportedly already held talks with interested clubs in preparation for a potential transfer.
