From Italy: Arsenal and Newcastle Make Approach to Sign AS Roma Star – €40m Price Tag Set

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to sign AS Roma defender Evan Ndicka this summer.
 

The 25-year-old has previously been linked with several top European clubs, including the Gunners.

Now, there appear to be concrete developments regarding the Ivory Coast international's future.

According to Italian outlet LaRoma24, both Arsenal and Newcastle have made enquiries about a potential summer deal for the Roma centre-back.

The report claims it was Ndicka's camp that leaked information suggesting a possible exit from the Serie A side is on the cards.

Roma are believed to have set an asking price of around €40 million and are unlikely to consider offers below that figure.

Ndicka is under contract with Roma until the summer of 2028.
