From Italy: Arsenal Hopeful of Completing £43m Deal for Serie A Forward — Initial Talks Held

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman this summer.
 

The 27-year-old is expected to leave the Serie A club, with several top European sides linked to a potential move.

Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla has previously claimed that Arsenal have held initial talks regarding a move for the Nigeria international.

Now, Corriere della Sera reports that Arsenal are keen to sign Lookman ahead of next season.

The Gunners are understood to be hopeful of completing a deal for the Atalanta winger, with a transfer fee around €50m (£43m) in mind.

It remains to be seen whether an agreement between the two clubs can be reached.
