From Italy: Arsenal ‘most active’ in pursuit of highly-rated winger, with AC Milan also interested

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign 19-year-old attacker Emanuele Rao this summer.

Rao recently became a free agent after his former club, SPAL, failed to register for the upcoming Serie C season.

SPAL, who were playing in Serie A just five years ago, are now facing potential bankruptcy due to severe financial difficulties.

According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Arsenal are in pole position to land the young winger, with the club said to be working hardest on a potential deal.

Rao, who primarily operates on the left flank, is also attracting interest from several Serie A giants, including AC Milan, Juventus, Inter, and Napoli.
