FROM PORTUGAL: Arsenal preparing new bid to sign Sporting superstar Viktor Gyökeres — next offer would meet club’s demands to sell

Arsenal are reportedly considering a new offer to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres this summer.
 

In recent days, multiple reports have claimed that Arsenal are in advanced talks with Sporting over a potential deal for the 27-year-old forward.

While negotiations are ongoing, no agreement between the two clubs has been reached so far.

The Gunners are understood to have submitted an offer worth €65m plus €15m in bonuses. Sporting, however, are holding out for €70m upfront and an additional €10m in bonuses.

Now, Portuguese outlet A Bola reports that Arsenal are weighing up a new bid for Gyökeres.

Mikel Arteta's side are believed to be ready to offer €70m plus €10m in add-ons — a total package that would meet Sporting's demands and preferred deal structure for selling their star striker.
