From Portugal: Arsenal submit enquiry for Sporting CP winger — two other Premier League clubs also keen

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach for Sporting CP winger Francisco Trincão.
The 25-year-old initially joined the Portuguese side from Barcelona in 2022 on a loan deal, which was made permanent a year later.
Trincão has enjoyed an impressive campaign so far, registering nine goals and 18 assists across all competitions.
His form hasn't gone unnoticed, with Portuguese outlet Record reporting that three Premier League clubs have shown concrete interest in signing him this summer.
According to Record, Arsenal are among the English clubs to have made an approach for the Sporting CP winger.
The Gunners are understood to have regularly scouted the Portugal international this season, ahead of a potential summer move.
Back in March, reports in England suggested that Ruben Amorim's Manchester United had identified Trincão as one of their top targets for the upcoming transfer window.
Meanwhile, Sporting CP are said to have already opened talks over extending Trincão's contract, which runs until the summer of 2026 and reportedly includes a release clause of around €80m.
