Arsenal are reportedly preparing to submit an improved offer for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera in the coming hours.
 

The Gunners' pursuit of the 21-year-old continues after their initial €14 million bid was rejected. Multiple reports from both England and Spain suggest that Mikel Arteta's side are set to return with a second proposal as they look to finalise a deal for the highly rated Spaniard.

According to SuperDeporte, Arsenal's improved offer is expected imminently, with the club eager to wrap up negotiations quickly.

Meanwhile, Valencia are reportedly keen to offer Mosquera a new contract in an attempt to fend off growing interest from elsewhere.

Previous reports have also indicated that the player has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal and is keen on making the move this summer.
