Arsenal are reportedly no longer in the race to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer.

The 24-year-old had previously been identified as Arsenal's top target to strengthen the left-wing position ahead of next season, with discussions held with his representatives on multiple occasions.

Several top European clubs, including Liverpool and Bayern Munich, have also been linked with a move in recent weeks.

However, it now appears that Arsenal have pulled out of the race.

According to Cadena SER, it is considered highly unlikely that Rodrygo will join the Gunners this summer. Mikel Arteta's side are understood to no longer be pursuing the Brazil international.

Meanwhile, ESPN Brasil reported yesterday that Liverpool have opened talks with Real Madrid over a potential deal.
