From Spain: Real Madrid and Man City look to hijack Arsenal’s goalkeeper target

Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave Espanyol at the end of the season, with up to ten clubs said to have expressed interest in securing his signature.
daily-arsenal.com previously spoke exclusively to the player's agent, Andy Bara, who revealed that he was in talks with as many as ten clubs regarding a potential summer move for Garcia.
Several top European clubs have been linked with the Spaniard, including Arsenal, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Now, according to Robert Hernando of La Grada Ràdio — who previously served as an advisor at Espanyol — Real Madrid have begun to show concrete interest in signing Garcia this summer.
Hernando also claims that Manchester City and Como are among the clubs keen on the goalkeeper, although a move to the Italian side appears unlikely, as Garcia is said to prefer a switch to England or Real Madrid.
