Gabri Veiga wants Europe return — Arsenal join transfer race for €30m-rated Al-Ahli star

Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Al-Ahli midfielder Gabri Veiga.
The 22-year-old made a surprise move from Celta Vigo to the Saudi Pro League last summer in a deal worth around €30 million.
However, the Spain U21 international could already be on his way back to Europe, just one year into his contract.
Recent reports suggest that Veiga has no intention of extending his Al-Ahli deal, which runs until 2026 — paving the way for a potential summer return to European football.
Several top clubs have been linked with the attacking midfielder, and Arsenal are now said to have entered the race.
According to a report from Just Arsenal, Arsenal, Newcastle, Napoli, and Atlético Madrid are all showing interest in the Spaniard.
However, Newcastle are understood to be leading the race, having already held direct talks with Veiga's representatives.
That said, Mikel Arteta's side remain firmly in contention, with the club keen on adding a creative midfielder to their ranks this summer.
