Italian sources: Arsenal ENTER transfer race to sign Serie A star this summer — Inter Milan could miss out as Gunners show interest

Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman this summer.
 

The 27-year-old is widely expected to leave the Serie A side ahead of next season, with multiple European clubs linked with a move.

The Nigeria international has made his intentions clear by handing in a transfer request.

Serie A giants Inter Milan have been heavily linked with a move in recent weeks and are now understood to be the frontrunners for his signature.

However, they could face stiff competition from the Premier League.

According to several Italian outlets, including Quotidiano Sportivo, Arsenal are now interested in a potential summer deal for Lookman.

The Gunners are said to be monitoring the Atalanta star's situation closely and could make a move if Leandro Trossard leaves the Emirates this summer.

Arsenal journalist Jordan Davies of The Sun also reports that the club are keeping tabs on Lookman ahead of a potential summer swoop.
