MAJOR BREAKING: Arsenal assistant head coach set to leave club to become new Parma manager — negotiations in final stages

Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Cuesta is reportedly set to become the new manager of Serie A side Parma.
 

The 29-year-old, who has been part of Mikel Arteta's coaching staff over the last few seasons, could now leave the Emirates this summer.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano exclusively reports that the Gunners' assistant head coach is close to being appointed as Parma's new manager.

Negotiations with Arsenal are understood to be in the final stages.

If the deal goes through, Cuesta would become the youngest manager in Serie A history.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will look to replace Cuesta and, if so, who that would be. Reports in the past have linked former Gunner Santi Cazorla with a role in Mikel Arteta's coaching staff.
