Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with Crystal Palace to sign Eberechi Eze.
 

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder had been widely expected to join north London rivals Tottenham, with an agreement between the clubs already in place.

However, David Ornstein exclusively reported earlier tonight that Arsenal have made their move for Eze and are now set to beat Spurs to his signature.

According to multiple sources, including Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal and Crystal Palace have reached an agreement in principle for the England international.

The deal is understood to be worth a total package of around £60m, with Eze's preference firmly set on joining Arsenal. Tottenham are now considered out of the race.

Eze is expected to feature in Crystal Palace's UEFA Conference League clash against Fredrikstad tomorrow before undergoing a medical with Arsenal.
