Arsenal's summer move for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres is reportedly on the verge of collapsing.
 

The Gunners have been in negotiations with Sporting over a potential deal for the 27-year-old, with talks previously described as being at an advanced stage.

However, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs, and discussions now appear to have stalled.

According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Arsenal's pursuit of Gyökeres is now at serious risk.

A well-placed Arsenal source is understood to have told A Bola that the club are close to walking away from the deal.

Sporting are still demanding €70m upfront plus €10m in bonuses, while Arsenal have so far only offered €65m plus €15m in add-ons.

It remains unclear whether talks will resume, with reports indicating the last formal discussions between the two sides took place on Sunday.
