Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres is reportedly on the verge of joining Arsenal this summer.
 

Multiple sources across Portugal, England, and Sweden report that Arsenal are in advanced negotiations with Sporting CP to sign the Swedish international.

Portuguese outlet Mais Futebol was first to report that Gyökeres is set to join Arsenal in a deal worth €80 million, with an agreement expected to be finalised today.

Swedish journalist Daniel Kristoffersson has since claimed that the 27-year-old striker is just a few details away from completing the move, with talks between the two clubs in their final stages.

Both Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein also confirm that Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Gyökeres this summer.

The striker has reportedly already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Mikel Arteta's side, leaving only the final club-to-club details to be resolved.
