MAJOR BREAKING: Tottenham to submit OFFICIAL bid for Arsenal target Eberechi Eze — formal talks with Palace to follow, player open to move

Tottenham are reportedly preparing an opening offer to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
 

The 27-year-old playmaker has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs in recent days.

Arsenal remain interested in a deal for Eze, but their current priority is to offload several players before making a formal approach.

Now, it appears the Gunners' north London rivals are stepping up their pursuit of the Palace attacker.

Transfer insider Ben Jacobs reports that Tottenham are set to submit an official bid to Crystal Palace for Eze.

Spurs are keen to wrap up a deal quickly, with Arsenal still in the race for his signature.

Although Eze's preference is to join Arsenal, it is understood he would be open to a move to Tottenham if the two clubs can agree a fee.

Fabrizio Romano also claims Spurs are now ready to open formal negotiations with Palace over the transfer.
