MAJOR BREAKING: Viktor Gyökeres to Arsenal, HERE WE GO — Deal finalised, medical expected within the next 24 hours

Arsenal are reportedly set to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres, with a full agreement between the two clubs now finally reached.
 

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a summer move to the Emirates, with negotiations ongoing for several weeks.

Now, it appears Mikel Arteta is finally getting his new number nine.

According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Arsenal are on the verge of sealing a total agreement with Sporting to sign Gyökeres.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reports that the Sweden international is set to join Arsenal, with a verbal agreement now in place between all parties.

The deal is believed to be worth €63.5m plus €10m in bonuses. Gyökeres is expected to sign a five-year contract and undergo his Arsenal medical within the next 24 hours.
