Report: Arsenal Among Clubs in Race to Sign Highly-Rated Porto Star This Summer – Player Impressing at Club World Cup

Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Porto defender Martim Fernandes this summer.
 

The 19-year-old has attracted attention from several top European clubs after an impressive 2024/25 season at Porto.

Fernandes is currently representing the Portuguese giants at the Club World Cup, with a number of clubs closely monitoring the highly-rated right-back.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal are among the clubs vying for Fernandes' signature.

Napoli, Bayer Leverkusen, and Manchester City are also said to be in the mix for the Portuguese player.

Porto are believed to be aware of the growing interest from Europe's elite clubs, but Fernandes' current focus is on performing well at the Club World Cup before assessing his future ahead of next season.
