Report: Arsenal among Premier League clubs closely following 25-goal FC Porto striker — summer exit likely

Arsenal are reportedly among several Premier League clubs keeping tabs on FC Porto striker Samu Aghehowa.
The Gunners' top priority this summer is to sign a new world-class number nine, with the likes of Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Šeško heavily linked with a potential move to the Emirates.
While those two remain key targets, other names have also emerged as possible alternatives — and now a new striker is reportedly on the radar.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in a summer move for Porto's 21-year-old striker Samu Aghehowa.
The Spain international enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season on a personal level, scoring 25 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.
A summer exit from the Portuguese giants now appears likely, with Aston Villa, Manchester United, West Ham, Chelsea, and Arsenal all believed to be monitoring his situation closely.
Aghehowa has a €100m release clause in his current Porto contract, but the club are expected to consider offers in the region of €70–75m.
