Report: Arsenal and Newcastle to go head-to-head for Crystal Palace star this summer – Liverpool also monitoring

Arsenal and Newcastle are reportedly expected to battle it out for the signature of Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi this summer.
 

The Athletic has previously reported that Arsenal hold a genuine interest in Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, with the Gunners looking to sign a new defender this summer.

However, they are not alone in closely monitoring the 24-year-old's situation.

According to Football Insider, both Arsenal and Newcastle are interested in a potential summer deal for Guehi.

The Englishman's current contract at Selhurst Park runs until the summer of 2026, meaning this could represent Palace's best opportunity to cash in on their captain.

Liverpool have also shown interest in the defender, although Arsenal and Newcastle are understood to be the leading candidates to secure his signature.
