Arsenal are reportedly set to compete with bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the signing of Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard this summer.
 

The 31-year-old has recently been linked with a move to the Emirates, as Arsenal explore options to replace Thomas Partey, who could leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the month.

Now, fresh reports have emerged regarding the Denmark international's future.

According to The Standard, Brentford captain Nørgaard is attracting interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Newly appointed Spurs manager Thomas Frank is keen on a reunion with Nørgaard, having previously worked with him during their time together at Brentford.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also assessing midfield targets, with Nørgaard reportedly among the names under consideration to replace Partey.
