Arsenal have reportedly made initial contact over a potential summer move for Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade.

The 23-year-old versatile attacker joined VfB Stuttgart on a free transfer from Werder Bremen last summer.

He has enjoyed a brilliant debut season with Stuttgart, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.

The German's impressive form has attracted interest from several European giants ahead of the summer transfer window, including Atletico Madrid, West Ham, and Napoli.

According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal have now entered the race for Woltemade and have already made contact with Stuttgart over a possible deal.

The Bundesliga side ideally want to keep their star man but are aware of the growing interest and could be open to a summer sale.

Stuttgart have reportedly set an asking price in the region of €45–50m and could consider cashing in if an offer in that range is submitted.
