Arsenal are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo.

The Gunners are ready to heavily strengthen the attack when the transfer window opens in a few weeks.

Reports in recent weeks have suggested that the club could move for two centre-forwards this summer.

Sporting CP's Viktor Gyökeres is believed to be the top target, but Arteta's side could also try to bring in another forward with significant potential and room to develop.

According to Just Arsenal, Rennes forward Arnaud Kalimuendo is one of several players being considered internally at the club.

Arsenal are believed to have scouted the 23-year-old Frenchman on multiple occasions recently, and the striker has been on the club's list of targets for some time.

Just Arsenal also suggests that Kalimuendo ticks all the boxes in terms of Arsenal's long-term recruitment strategy.

The Rennes forward has scored 18 goals and provided four assists in 33 games across all competitions this season.
