Report: Arsenal to accelerate pursuit of Premier League star following Madueke signing — player’s preference is move to the Emirates

Arsenal are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze following the signing of Noni Madueke.
 

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a potential move to the Emirates in recent weeks, with talks said to have taken place between Arsenal and the player's representatives.

Although club-to-club negotiations are yet to begin, it now appears that Mikel Arteta's side are ready to ramp up their interest in the England international.

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are accelerating their plans to sign Eze this summer.

The Palace attacker has a £68 million release clause in his current contract, and the Eagles are not expected to accept a fee below that figure.

Previous reports have suggested that Eze's preference is a move to Arsenal ahead of next season.
