Arsenal and RB Leipzig are reportedly €10 million apart in negotiations for Benjamin Sesko.

Mikel Arteta's side are yet to sign a new striker this summer, with both Sesko and Sporting CP's Viktor Gyökeres high on the club's shortlist.

Reports from Portugal earlier today claimed that Arsenal are preparing an improved offer for Gyökeres.

Now, a fresh update has emerged regarding their pursuit of Sesko.

According to The Independent's Miguel Delaney, a €10m gap remains between Arsenal's offer and Leipzig's valuation of the Slovenian striker.

Sesko, 22, is believed to be Arteta's top target for the No.9 role. While all parties are open to a deal, no agreement has yet been reached.

However, it is understood that Arsenal are aware of Leipzig's financial pressure to sell the forward after missing out on Champions League qualification for next season.
