RMC Sport: Arsenal Make Contact Over 22-Goal Frankfurt Star – Liverpool and Chelsea Also in Pursuit

Arsenal are reportedly battling with Chelsea and Liverpool for the signing of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike this summer.
 

The 22-year-old forward is widely expected to leave the Bundesliga side during the upcoming transfer window following an impressive season in Germany.

Having scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions, Ekitike has attracted interest from several top European clubs.

According to RMC Sport, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal have all approached Eintracht Frankfurt regarding a potential move for the French striker.

Negotiations are believed to be underway, with Chelsea said to be making the strongest push to secure a deal.

However, any transfer for Ekitike is unlikely to come cheap. Frankfurt are reportedly demanding a hefty fee in the region of €90–100m.
