Viktor Gyökeres is reportedly set to arrive in London on Friday to finalise the details of his summer move to Arsenal.
 

The 27-year-old is expected to become Arsenal's new number nine ahead of next season, after the Gunners and Sporting CP finally reached a full agreement over a transfer.

Despite serious interest from several top European clubs, the Sweden international made it clear he only wanted to join Mikel Arteta's side this summer.

Now, it appears to be only a matter of time before the deal is officially confirmed.

According to Sky Sports, Gyökeres is scheduled to arrive in London tomorrow to complete his move to Arsenal.

The plan is then for him to fly to Singapore and link up with the rest of the squad on their pre-season tour.

If all goes smoothly, the striker could make his debut on Sunday against Newcastle.
