Arsenal are among the clubs who have been monitoring the versatile Ghanaian for a long time, even during his spell at Ajax.

With Graham Potter's side prepared to cash in on Kudus, it now seems the Gunners are set to rekindle their long-standing interest in the player.

Kudus is believed to have an £85m release clause in his current West Ham deal, which can be activated by potential suitors this summer. However, Arsenal are reportedly more likely to attempt to negotiate a lower fee to secure the player's signature.

Despite Kudus' inconsistent season, Arsenal are understood to be ready to act and have added the winger to their list of potential summer transfer targets.
