Arsenal remain interested in signing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze this summer — but only on one condition.
 

The 27-year-old England international has been heavily linked with a summer move to the Emirates Stadium.

It is understood that Arsenal is Eze's first-choice destination, despite interest from several top European clubs.

According to The Athletic, the Gunners remain keen on a potential deal for Eze before the transfer window closes.

However, Mikel Arteta's side are not currently willing to pay the full value of his release clause, believed to be around £60m.

Arsenal would consider stepping up their pursuit if Crystal Palace lowered their asking price.

It remains to be seen whether the Eagles' stance will soften in the final weeks of the window, but for now, a deal is viewed as complicated.
